I couldn't have said it better, myself, Mamie Buttons! I am relieved and heartened that the big red wave did not happen. I agree with you Belle, this is not the end until the next election. We must always stay informed, and engaged in working for the kind of community, state, nation, and world we want to live in. My love to all. Thank you to everyone who gave and continues to speak up, give their time and money to protect democracy, and strive for equal rights, opportunities, justice, and to save our planet.

Like Elizabeth, I worked for NC candidates, and the losses are hard. Yet, I'm rejoicing this a.m. for the victories we've had nationally, and what we may be able to do in the future to turn NC blue. Thank you, Belle, Bea, Richard, and Harriet! for your work. I almost feel as though a fever has broken in this country. That's probably optimistic, but I'm taking the feeling and feeling good about it for now!

NM remained Blue and we kept the Senate. Gracias a Dios and Hallelujah! Thank you and your family for your work.

What a wonderful dose of perspective this morning. I worked on the Dems coordinated campaign in NC and the losses are hard, but I know it is so important to remember to victories— like Del, and like Cooper keeping the veto by 400 odd votes. Thank you for a delightful read!
