Why thank you! I think it does fairly well because we garden at the top of a hill. For winter salads, we like a salad dressing that Harriet has gotten pretty good at making: olive oil, lemon juice, honey, minced shallot, and salt and pepper. Whisked in the bottom of the salad bowl, then tossed with the greens! And we still need to get Plant Pets to you-- I was going to drop it off but I will put it in the mail!
This is a particularly poignant and lovely piece today. So worried about So Cal. And everyone and everything there, including wildlife, plants, and beloved pets. Yet you managed to inject hope. Thank you.
