I believe the word is spreading so rapidly and people, rightfully, are so alarmed, that Trump is now adamantly saying that he knows nothing about it, which is not accurate. As HCR points out, most people in this country value democracy and want ours to continue.
I'm terrified. And I read the link about Project 2025 and was even more terrified. I had no idea they were so organized. I'm watching this show on Paramount + right now called EVIL, and the thing the characters keep saying is "Evil is Organizing." Couldn't be truer.
Excellent as always Belle. I’m impressed with the people I’ve run into lately- they know I’m politically active and they want to talk. A neighbor I hadn’t met till she came to our Democrats precinct open house last week in a walk this morning, and we talked for half an hour, about our concerns about Biden mostly, and then our hopes for Kamala Harris. Some influential figures are talking about the idea of Biden stepping down and Harris becoming President now! - today in TNR a story by David Blight, for example. I’m keeping this in my hopes, guarding it, trying not to smother this little flame with my anxiety and needs… my way of praying.🙏 Your words help, Belle. Thank you. I’m so sorry to hear about the pepper spray incident with Bea. She is resilient!
