I am making a new potato and yellow squash frittata. Wish I had some chanterelles for !

Great FTT as always!

So scary about legislators! They are but a couple of votes away in what we thought was a blue state

VA! We have a red fleece wearing governor ( a wolf in cheap clothing!) and Rupert Murdoch thinks that glen “trumkin” should become president! Yikes!

So much good information in this issue! I enjoyed the video on the two mushrooms. I won't forage unless I have an expert with me, but it is something I would like to try, and in the mean time I am going to be on the lookout for these two mushrooms. I think it would be fun to try to find them even if I never actually forage.

Also thank you so much for identifying two organizations engaged in the fight to save our public schools, and training opportunities on how to be a part of the solution. my love to all!

Trumpkin tale? Or mushrooming tale? Forgot to mention your adage, "There are old mushroom hunters, and there are bold mushroom hunters, but there are no old, bold mushroom hunters"!

I support everything in that bill. It protects children from the child mutilators & abusers. They are preying on children at vulnerable times. The brain doesn’t fully mature till 30.

I have these on my property and they appear to be chanterelles any help would be appreciated. New to foraging except for oyster mushrooms.

Those look like chanterelles to me, but the real test is whether they have forked ridges rather than true gills. I think this post is good: https://outdooradventures.wp.tulane.edu/2020/08/12/confidently-foraging-chanterelles/
