I love the Atlantis Lodge too. Every room has an ocean view, you can open the windows to catch the sea breeze, and dogs are welcomed. Best of all the lodge preserved the beach dunes, trees, and plants. Along the whole strand of Atlantic beach and Emerald Isle it’s the only piece of native landscape.
I have family pix from Atlantis Lodge in the 1960s!! Love that place! Was fun to take my kids there a few years ago. Hasn't changed a bit! Still owned by the same family!!
Friday evening a t-storm washed our sunset clean The sun has sort of resembled a dull lightbulb
lately and many of my neighbors were out and about in their golf carts enjoying the beautiful weather
and maybe preparing for the boat parade this weekend. A giant American flag banner was suspended from the Walkerton (Latane Trice ❤️) bridge over the Mattaponi River a few signs for local sheriff election and thankfully no trump or go Brandon signs ( not yet anyway) I sopped by the little free library to see what our neighbors are sharing I checked out a very disturbing book

Now my dilemma What to do with this ? In these times of book banning and racism and hatred if I burn it am I just like them? Compost it but will that contaminate my soil ? Any suggestions?
