I feel like I was with you. Your post was very well-written, and informative. I get that song stuck in my head sometimes, too, but I love it’s power and emotion. It touches your soul. My love to all.

Bea, You wrote a beautiful description of the events of that time and all that your learned about them. Your post reflects the injustice people suffered and the strength and dedication they had.

Hi Bea, even though I lived through a lot of what you're writing about, I had no idea of what it was really like for Black people. Reading your posts and seeing/hearing your account of your trip has helped me understand more. Thank you again for doing this. It's important work.
