Five years ago today, I got a little sister. Seven pounds, six ounces, very cute, and one of the best things to ever happen to me. This post is all about H and what I love about her.
Being home with baby Harriet was actually what inspired the original Frog Trouble Times. We printed and mailed the FTT to our friends as a way of keeping them up to date with our shenanigans. Here’s an example of the old FTT posts, but please remember I was only four years old:
Harriet is very funny and tells hilarious jokes. She also does great voices and is a terrific mimic.
She has the cutest giggle. Her cuteness is unmatched, from her love of tiny things she’s always losing and then looking for, to her recent love of makeup which she applies in most unusual ways.
She is kind and generous. One of her favorite things to do is make hearts and give them to people. She even finds heart rocks and gives them away. Heart is her favorite shape. Pink and rainbow are her favorite colors.
She loves animals and the outdoors. Her favorite animal is the cat, but she is also a good spotter of birds, turtles, snails, frogs, and snakes.
She is the best sister EVER!! She’s always there for me and even when we fight she is still one of the most important people in the world to me.
Happy Birthday, Harriet!
Love,
Bea
